The perfect country getaway. Our accommodations were outstanding, and our day of Upland bird hunting was spectacular. Watching the bird dogs hunt is worth the day in the field, and the birds are extra! If you enjoy getting away from the city, this is the place for wholesome family fun, shooting sports and hunting. Highly recommended.

Hosted our family Christmas at Rough Creek this year. We enjoyed special dinners hunting and massages. Great place and always enjoy our experiences been a family favorite for over 20 years and the activities have grown lots do do besides the hunting.

Amazing! Fabulous food, highly recommend the ribeye steak for dinner, tons of activities, horseback riding was fantastic, our guide was bubbly, friendly and knowledgeable. Friendly staff all went above and beyond! Stayed in the Sam Houston suite, well appointed, very clean, spacious with a full living area and fireplace, balcony had beautiful view of the lake with comfy chairs. Highly recommend a visit to Rough Creek Lodge.

Highly recommend Rough Creek Lodge! This place is a 10 out of 10. We had a suite and the room was huge and bathtub and fireplace made our stay amazing! Their food and staff are also top notch! Will be back for sure!

I CAN'T DESCRIBE HOW WONDERFUL ROUGH CREEK IS! YOU NEED TO EXPERIENCE ROUGH CREEK YOURSELF! IT IS THE ULTIMATE FAMILY RESORT! IT'S MY 10 GRANDKID'S FAVORITE PLACE! We really enjoyed our stay. The amenities were great with a lot of activities to choose from. The staff was very friendly and amazing. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. I didn't know what to expect coming in, but was very satisfied with our visit. I look forward to coming back again.
